Method Man Calls Atlanta The New New York

In addition, the Tical album creator spoke on the breaking down of race and gender barriers in Hip Hop. Meth also addressed modern male Hip Hop stars - like Atlanta's Young Thug- embracing androgyny.

"It’s cool when one person is doing it, and you say, 'OK, that’s his thing,' but then when it becomes a trend…They’re basically doing what rock ‘n’ rollers did with the fingernail-painting, the long hair, jumpin’ in the crowd—they want to be rock stars now. Be that, but don’t call it hip-hop. I think it’s different, but it has its place," said the 47-year-old.

Meth continued, "Would I rather sit there and listen to Rakim at a concert? Probably. I would love to listen to Rakim all day on my radio. But nowadays, if I’m at a concert, I’m gonna see Kendrick, I’m gonna see Rae Sremmurd, I’m gonna see these artists that turn up the way I would be doing if I was makin’ that kind of music."

RZA's Allergies Force Him To Wear Malcolm X Style Glasses

(AllHipHop News) Wu-Tang Clan producer RZA wears glasses to protect his sensitive eyes.

The hip-hop legend prefers designer Tom Ford's frames when he's out and about, revealing he needs to shield himself from allergy-inducing debris in both indoor and outdoor settings.

"For some reason, I got the face shape that fits Tom Fords," he explained to New York Magazine. "You either catch me with the shades on or in 'the nerds' (regular eyeglasses). We call them the Malcolm X glasses in the hood. I actually have eyes that irritate easily, so I wear the glasses to keep stuff out of my eyes.

"If you see me in shades indoors, you might be like, 'RZA is wearing shades inside, what the hell is going on?' I’m protecting my eyes, and I’m looking cool. I have probably a dozen pairs."

RZA's Rep Goes Off At Azealia Banks Over RZA Disses In The Media

(AllHipHop News) The RZA and Azealia Banks have been at odds for quite some time, culminating with the female singer telling the elder statesman to "drop dead." Now, the RZA's public relations representative Tresa Sanders (who will now be known as TZA) has had enough. The veteran PR has stepped into the arena to fiercely defend the honor of her client. And, if you believe this is mere work, the tone of the letter should help fix that. There is significant passion in the these words.
