Here's the Artwork For Wu-Tang Clan's Upcoming "A Better Tomorrow" Album
After much delay, the long-awaited Wu-Tang Clan album, A Better Tomorrow, is finally on its way, and we're excited to bring you the official artwork for the album this afternoon. The project, which arrives on December 2, features all the original members of the group, minus Old Dirty Bastard of course (though the album does include a few unreleased verses from ODB), for the first time in over two decades. For the cover, which you can view above, the group decided to go with a GIF that brings sunshine over the skyline of a combination of metropolitan areas like New York City, Los Angeles, Paris, and more.
In total, this project took around 18 months for the group to get together, as they had to work around members not being able to attend every studio session and recording verses while on the road. Details on the album have been kept rather quiet by the group, though the did release the single, "Ron O'Neal," in August after debuting it on The Daily Show With Jon Stewart. Earlier this month, RZA also announced that the release of the album would be done in part through the use of a digital speaker bundle, which would give some fans an opportunity to get an early listen to the album before it hits stores.
