This coming November marks the 20th anniversary of Wu-Tang Clan's debut disc, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), and the rap crew's Method Man has hinted that they'll celebrate the feat with an anniversary album. The news came in concert this weekend, where Meth told the crowd at Los Angeles' Key Club to keep an eye out for the impending 20th anniversary LP.
He didn't offer too much info, though he said that the set should land in November, to coincide with their first album's official birthday (November 10, 1993). "We got the Wu-Tang anniversary album coming up, we working on that right now," he told the crowd, adding, "There's some nice treats on there."
While he didn't dish any details beyond that, there's still several months before the Clan plans to bring da ruckus once again.
In the meantime, Wu-Tang Clan have been busy setting up summer festival shows, including appearances at Coachella and at the newly announced Ottawa Bluesfest.
