Wu-Tang’s RZA & Ghostface Killah Team For ‘Angel Of Dust’


The Wu-Tang Clan’s Ghostface Killah and RZA and Shaun Redick of Impossible Dream Entertainment will produce Angel of Dust, a suspense horror thriller that Wu-Tang leader RZA will direct. Pic is inspired by true stories that happened around the hood to members of the global iconic rap group when they were growing up in and around the Staten Island Projects. A series of bizarre and horrifying events shaped their mind-sets to launched the Wu-Tang Clan to become a worldwide music powerhouse. The story was created by Wu-Tang member Ghostface Killah (aka Dennis Coles) and longtime manager Caruso. Script is by Matt Leslie and Stephen J. Smith (The Harrowing, Summer of ’84).

The First Trailer for Showtime's Wu-Tang Clan Docuseries Is Here


Showtime Documentary Films dives deeper into the music documentary space with Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics and Men, a four-part limited docuseries from filmmaker Sacha Jenkins (BURN MOTHERF*CKER, BURN!) that transcends the music documentary genre by creating a new lane that merges music, socio-cultural commentary and intimate family portrait.The four-part series examining the cultural history of hip-hop’s most influential group will debut on SHOWTIME this spring.

WU-TANG CLAN, Public Enemy and De La Soul are heading on tour

05/12 – Glasgow, UK @ The SSE Hydro

Three of Hip-Hop’s most iconic groups, Wu-Tang Clan, Public Enemy, and De La Soul, are coming together for the Gods of Rap Tour this year.

The historic announcement about the upcoming tour, which is due to land in London, Manchester, and Glasgow in May as each group celebrates a classic album from their discography. DJ Premier has signed on as the host for each show.

The Wu-Tang Clan who are officially listed as headliners of the tour, is honoring the 25th anniversary of Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers); Public Enemy is paying tribute to the 30th anniversary of It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back, and De La Soul is commemorating the 30th anniversary of 3 Feet High and Rising.

“I don’t believe anything like this has been done in the UK before on this level,” SJM promoter Chris Wareing told Music Week. “This tour creates a legacy, it’s a moment. The groups are the biggest in their genres, they’re all celebrating notable anniversaries of their biggest albums and I am led to believe this is the first time they have all been on the same bill together.”
