MTV Teams With Rapper Ghostface For First-Ever Interactive Book
(AllHipHop News) MTV continues to invest into Hip-Hop programming with the company’s first ever interactive book, coming from Wu-Tang Clan rapper Ghostface Killah.
Ghostface’s new e-book is titled “The World According to Pretty Toney,” which was released today (December 4).
Ghostface, a.k.a. “Pretty Toney” offers up a unique perspective on life, coupled with audio commentary, photography and short form videos/skits that previously aired on MTV2.
“There is no better player in the game then P-Tone himself to mark MTV’s first foray into the interactive e-book business with his hysterical take on life’s most universal laws,” said Tina Exarhos, Executive Vice President of Marketing for MTV. “We look forward to developing more compelling and enhanced storytelling experiences that build on our marketing strategy to grow MTV’s audience base across multiple platforms and devices.”
The interactive book features Pretty Toney offering up advice on everything from sex and gambling to education, As well as “The Hustler’s Diet.”
In addition to Ghostface, MTV2 “Guy Code” star Donnell Rawlings is featured in the interactive book.
“The World According to Pretty Toney” beginning today via iTunes, Amazon and Barnes & Noble for $9.99.
