Masta Killa Says Wu-Tang Clan Reunion Album Is Coming
Masta Killa confirmed that Wu-Tang Clan reunion is still a certainty even though it might be taking the group a little longer to organize a project than fans might like. The rapper also added that he was looking forward to representing the Wu-Tang again.
Masta Killa explained that the group was like a family and hinted that while they might not have pulled everyone together at the same time, they keep close contact with one another. “The reunion already started, man. You know what I’m saying? That’s something natural. That’s like coming home for Thanksgiving,” Masta Killa told SOHH before adding, “Sometimes all the family shows up, sometimes you might be missing a brother and you’re like, ‘Ah man! It would have been the bomb if he had came.’ You know?”
A reunion might not entail pulling the group together at the same time, but according to Masta Killa a return of the Wu-Tang in some form is just a matter of time. “We’re gonna do what we do naturally but I’m definitely looking forward to bringing it all back together and holding up the ‘W’ again. Whenever that comes, just know it’s coming. Just know it’s coming,” said Masta Killah.
Raekwon was one of the last members of the group to speak about a potential reunion and explained that so far the potential re-up was still being discussed adding that nothing solid had been planned.
